The first reason to choose fleece sheets for your bed is that fleece sheets will provide plenty of warmth and comfort. Fleece sheets are relatively light weight so they will provide plenty of warmth and comfort without bulk.
The second reason you may want to choose fleece sheets for your bed is that they are soft to touch. The feel of fleece is very smooth and soft. This will result in hours of comfortable sleep.
The third reason you may want to choose fleece sheets for your bed is they will not shrink when washed. Fleece sheets will not shrink if washed in your wash machine than placed in the dryer.
The fourth reason you may want to choose fleece sheets for your bed are that they are water resistant. Fleece is resistant to water, so if you spill a drink while laying in bed it will not soak through and get you wet.
The fifth reason you may choose fleece sheets for your bed is the stylish rustic look. Nothing looks more welcoming or warming than the look of fleece. Fleece sheets have a rustic country appearance and would add warmth to your bedroom.
After you have decided on purchasing fleece sheets for your bed it’s time to decide what type of fleece sheets to buy. Fleece sheets come in different finishes; some of those finishes are a brushed finish, velour finish, Berber fleece and micro fleece. Brushed finish is the most common finish on fleece sheets. A brushed finish will appear flat and smooth. Velour finish is plusher on one side while the other side is smoother. Micro fleece is a lighter weight fleece and is excellent for baby sheets and bedding. Berber fleece has curled fibers and is similar to lamb’s wool. This type of fleece is commonly used on throws.
Personally I love the look and feel of fleece. I prefer the brushed finish fleece sheets which are the most common. Nothing will keep you warmer then curling up on a fleece covered bed.
