When it comes to building a bathroom, we are sometimes faced with a rather difficult question. “Is it necessary to have a shower?”
I’ve known a lot of people who had never have any shower at their own home, yet they managed to live a very comfortable life. I’m even surprised to find out that some of my next-door neighbors don’t have a shower in their bathroom. They only rely to their bathtub, when bathing. I even read once on a book that some people in the third world country haven’t even tried bathing in a shower. So is building a shower really necessary?
A lot of you might think that it’s not. However, given this fast-paced life that we currently have, it would be hard to spend several hours in a bathtub just to prepare going to work. It might seem odd too if you’ll wake up two hours earlier for your job, just so you’d have more time to spend for your bath. That’s just impossible to do everyday. And what if you wake up late for work? Do you still have time to hop on your bathtub to take a bath? Well, definitely not. And therefore, it is really important to have a shower in your bathroom so your precious time won’t be put to waste.
Another thing to consider about the good thing of having a shower is the environment. Do you know that aside from saving ample time, you can save huge amount of water when you shower, rather than soaking yourself in a tub? Also with a mixer shower, it is possible to adjust to the exact temperature and minimize wasting energy. A long, luxurious bath in a tub could cost you many, many gallons of water, as compared to a quick 5-minute bath in the shower.
The advantages of building a shower are simple – speed, water savings, time efficiency and the environment friendly.
