Have Sleep Problems? Use A Memory Foam Topper

Many people have trouble going to sleep after they go to bed. This is especially true of office workers. Many white collar workers are forced to work extra hours without getting paid, and not only receive additional stress from their bosses but lose valuable private time to exercise and relax.

In theory, there are several different ways to make sure we can get a good night’s sleep. This includes getting enough sunlight in the morning (at least half an hour), getting enough exercise or physical activity during the day or doing stretching or relaxation exercises before going to bed. The problem, of course, is that all these things need time which we do not have anymore.

So what can we do to sleep better at night? The easiest way is to sleep on a more comfortable bed. Arguably, the most comfortable beds are water beds, memory foam mattresses or air beds. Unfortunately, none of the good and effective brands are easily affordable. Most cost at least $500, if not much more.

Fortunately, there is a cheaper alternative that is almost as good – the memory foam topper. How does it work? Simple. Memory foam toppers look just like thin mattresses, varying from 1 inch in thickness to 4, 5, or 6 inches in thickness. The thicker toppers are more comfortable, but also much more expensive. You lay the topper on top of your regular mattress, then put your bedsheet over it. After that, you just sleep on it normally.

Memory foam was a NASA project to make safer ejection seats for jet fighters. During ejection, there is a tremendous amount of force placed on the pilot’s body. Memory foam was invented to absorb all those physical stresses. When used in a mattress or mattress pad, it has the same effect. It is almost like floating on water, and it helps to melt away the physical tensions in your body.

That is why when you lie down on a memory foam mattress pad, you will feel relaxed quickly and go to sleep more easily. Sleeping on a memory foam topper is the lazy man’s way to get a better night’s sleep. You do not have to do any extra workouts, you do not have to wake up earlier to get your daily dose of sunlight, you do not have to spend extra time on mental relaxation techniques before bed.
