If you choose floating candles they can look really nice in a bowl of water, or even in your swimming pool.

Your candle holder doesn’t need to be something that you have bought from a store. Take a look around your home and you will find many interesting objects to use. Empty glass baby food jars are perfect for putting tea lights in. If you use a little bit of craft glue you can decorate them with little stones, glitter and so on. You can buy craft pens that can write on glass, so you can draw your own unique designs straight on to the glass. So that the tea light stay in place you can anchor them in the jar with things like sand, glass beads or marbles. These items can be color coordinated with the decoration of your home as they come in huge amount of colors.

A basic wooden board can transformed into a stylish candle holder in a few easy steps. Firstly, cut it down to the length that you need then sand it smooth. Once you’ve done that you can either stain or paint the wood. If you fancy it you can leave it looking rustic and natural and miss even miss out on the sanding. If the candle holder is going to be used in the garden then you can just sit the candles on top of it. If you need the candles to be secure then you can drive a nail through the wood and into the candle. A few other ideas could be odd glasses and cups, old vases and ashtrays. Be sure that you take care when burning candles and don’t leave a burning candle unattended.
